Welcome to my website-I just love that you’re here! If you’re new to me and my work, let me share with you who I am and what I do. Actually, if you’re familiar with what I did, you should know that the scope of what I can offer you has expanded!
First and foremost, I’m a wife (of 43 years!) to Jonathan Groveman and the mother of three amazing, grown married children -all are sharing life with equally amazing people-so, I actually have 6 wonderful kids. To date, Jon and I have been blessed with three precious grand-daughters. And, although we, unfortunately, lost our beloved Mango (our 13-year-old yellow Labrador Retriever) in July of 2019, we now have an adorable Goldendoodle puppy, we named Ellie, that we love to pieces. If asked what I enjoy most in life, I would have to say “I live to love and nurture.”
Although I didn’t grow up knowing a thing about how to cook, as a newly married (late teen), I absolutely fell in love with the way creating in the kitchen made me feel. I loved it so much that I even looked forward to the more than occasional bumps in the road. I fully embraced the entire process of practicing as beginner – to then becoming more and more self-trusting and eventually feeling completely free and able to cook and bake with a measure of greatness.
As a natural progression, friends and neighbors started to ask me to teach them what I knew – and not just recipes. I would get a continual flow of questions about what cookware, tools, gadgets and appliances I liked. In retrospect, I don’t think these questions were only in hopes of accomplishing my literal recipes – I’m sure it was also because they were wanting to feel the same way I felt (and still feel) when creating and sharing homemade food. So, the professional side of things began.
