In a Druze village, in northern Israel, I helped make lunch in the home of Pnina. We made many delicious things, including Zalabya, a savory,spiced fried finger-perforated flatbread-and a simmered casserole filled with rice-stuffed grape leaves and short, stubby pale green squash-with fresh tomatoes. There was so much more but this is all I can fit-🙌 Just wonderful
