Several days ago, i had lunch with a friend and she was telling me about her daughter- a college senior, home for the summer and interning at a summer job. She told me that every day- when she wakes up, before even getting out of bed, my friend hears her daughter call out to the world “GOOD MORNING!”- I’ve thought of this every day since our lunch- How wonderful to open your eyes and not think to look outside so the weather could dictate if this day would be considered “nice”- Or waiting to see how people respond to us to determine if we were worthy and of value. I woke up this morning and the first thing I did was take a few minutes to just lay there and think of what I’m grateful for- and then I said a big fat GOOD MORNING!! Doing this brought me such a smile that I actually did it again (two more times!). I hope you’ll try this- Take back your power to deem this day and every day to be GOOD
